Little John Inn Christmas Lunch – 2011

This years christmas meal will take place at the Little John Inn on Sunday 18th December at 2.00 pm. The prices for this years meal are as follows:

Two courses – £8.95
Three courses – £10.95

Those wishing to attend this years Christmas meal are required to pay a £5 non-refundable deposit by the next club meeting which will take place on Tuesday October 25th. The Christmas meal will need to be paid in full by the following club meeting which will take place on Tuesday the 29th Novemeber. For those who are unable to attend the club meetings please pay the full amount directly to the NAM secretary.

The menu for this years christmas meal is outlined below. It would be appreciated if you could let the club know your menu choice by the end of November.

Starters

1. Homemade tomato and basil soup with a crusty roll (v)
2. Little John’s prawn cocktail with wholemeal bread
3. Mushroom and stilton pepper pot with a crusty roll (v)

Main Meal

1. Traditional Turkey dinner with roasted and mash patato, homemade Yorkshire pudding, chipolata sausage and stuffing.
2. Silverside roast beef with roasted and mash patato and homemade Yorkshire Pudding.
3. Breaded haddock on a bed of mash served with a creamy tarragon sauce.
4. Nut roast with crushed new potatoes and a spicy tomato sauce (v)

All dishes accompanied with seasonal vegetables

Desserts

1. Christmas pudding served with brandy sauce
2. Warm apple pie with custard
3. Ice cream
4. Coffee and mince pie
